Subject to the proviso included below, participating in Project Awesome is entirely at your own risk.
Project Awesome activities are predominantly physical and may be strenuous. You should always consult your GP before taking up any strenuous activity. It is your responsibility to ensure that you participate within your own physical capacity and accounting for any medical conditions you may have.
Project Awesome activities may include the use of steps and obstacles. This could increase your risk of injury. You use such obstacles and any location at which any Project Awesome activity is held entirely at your own risk.
You are responsible for any belongings you may bring with you to any Project Awesome activity. If you leave them unattended, you do so at your own risk.
Project Awesome and its volunteers will not be liable for (whether for negligence, breach of contract, misrepresentation or otherwise) any loss or damage incurred by any participant (including with respect to property) or any indirect or consequential loss or damage suffered by any participant, provided that nothing in this disclaimer will operate to exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence.
Strike a pose – regarding our photographers and filmmakers
During Project Awesome activities, you may be photographed or filmed by Project Awesome leaders, trainers and other professional or amateur photographers or filmmakers. By attending any Project Awesome activity, you agree that you may be photographed and/or filmed by such people and that the resulting images may be used, published and/or made the subject of intellectual property rights (such as copyright) by us or (as we direct) by a third party for promotional, media or any other lawful purpose.
